Belated books

Updating with some custom books and two Sketch for Japan books that I didn't upload previously.
These two were custom notebooks for my friend Chelsea Pray (left) and my grandmother (right). Both of them were pretty small, which was fun.

These were the Sketch for Japan notebooks and they were huge, 8"x10". Which might only be hue to me. The left one was made with varied pastel paper in similar colors to the covers. The one on the right was watercolor paper.

Reopan print

This is a proof of the print that's being done for a print exchange is the continuing studies class I'm taking part in at MCAD. The theme was "ripe" on a 7x7". "Reopan" is from the Old English word "to reap". This green one was for fun, along with the really large text, but it's probably my favorite.

This is the final print, I decided on a darker ink with a cream paper. I wanted it to moosh together a bit, a lot of people think of bright, rich, things when they think of "ripe", but as a whole the word can mean a lot of things. The word is still perforated in the corner but smaller and sans serif.

The sketchblog has more process and images.
